“I was treated like an adult.”If you go to a Healthy Respect drop-in you can expect to be treated well. It’ll be friendly and welcoming, and nobody will be judging you. All our drop-ins are run by trained staff to a set of standards. The standards have been developed based on what young people told us they want from services.
When you speak to a Healthy Respect worker, these are your rights:
- To have your discussion kept confidential
- To be treated with respect
- To tell us what you need from us
- To complain if you’re not happy
- To express your feelings
- To get clear, up-to-date and correct information
In return, Healthy Respect asks you to:
- Treat others with respect
- Consider the information we give you
- Think about keeping you and your partner healthy and safe
- Respect others’ feelings
- Tell us what you think about the service
Telling us what you think
Every drop-in has a comments box where you can give us your feedback. You don’t need to give your name – just write down if you had a good or bad experience in the drop-in. You can also email us using the contact us form.
All concerns, complaints and compliments welcome through our Contact Us form– we will always try to improve the drop-in based on your feedback. We want you to feel comfortable going to any Healthy Respect drop-in.
