At Healthy Respect® we will always keep your data safe and secure. Any personal data collected through this website will be treated as confidential in line with the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In accordance with GDPR law, we ask for your consent to be in contact with you in the future.

We will not share your personal data with any third parties.

 

Our network

You do not have to register to use the Healthy Respect website, but you must consent to joining our network to receive news on events and training, and to access training materials.

The registration information we require to join our network is:

  • full name
  • organisation
  • your role
  • email address
  • local authority area

 

We will only use your data to:

  • let you know about Healthy Respect events, resources, training and activities that we think are relevant to your work and interests,
  • send you information, resources and training offered by other relevant organisations or member practitioners that we think you will be interested in.

Your information is stored securely on our database until you choose to unsubscribe from receiving monthly updates. You can decide at any time that you don’t want to hear from us again. We will provide an unsubscribe email contact in all items of communication we send.

You can also get in touch with us at Healthy.Respect@nhs.scot asking us to take you off our mailing list and remove your details from our database.

  

Our training

You must register to attend Healthy Respect training and events. The registration information we require is:

  • full name
  • job title
  • place of work
  • local authority
  • email address

This information is stored securely on our database and is used only to send you information about training and events you have booked through us to attend.

Once you have been accepted on to a training course you will receive a user ID and will be invited to generate a password. This will allow you access to our protected training and services resource area.

You can get in touch with us at Healthy.Respect@nhs.scot asking us to take you off our mailing list and/or remove your details from our database.

We will not share personal data with any third parties.

 

Finding out your views and opinions on events and activity

We have a commitment to gathering your views to inform our work, and will sometimes ask for your views on specific issues – but we will not share your details unless you say we can.

  • We will use surveys and evaluation feedback forms to gather your views.  This information will be used to improve what we do and to fulfil our commitment to improving the sexual health and wellbeing of young people in Lothian.
  • We will also use the training data we collect for audit and reporting purposes.
