Relationships, Sexual Health, and Parenthood curriculum training for those working with primary aged children
This training is for teachers and anyone working with primary aged children.
Content: Exploring particular topics such as language, consent, sex and relationships and dealing with frequently asked questions from children and parents & carers.
Learning outcomes:
- Increase in participants knowledge of benefits of RSHP education
- Increase in knowledge and confidence in delivering RSHP in a range of settings
- Increased understanding of how to create a safe and effective learning environment for this topic as it is mapped across the P1-P7 Health and wellbeing curriculum.
For academic session 2025/26 this training will be organised and requested through the QIO (Quality Improvement Officer) for your Local Authority. The following local authorities are open for sign ups on the specified dates below:
