Working with children

Training opportunities for staff and volunteers in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

LAYC + Healthy Respect: RSHP education for those working with primary aged children.

Target audience: This training is for anyone working with primary-aged children so will be suitable for out-of-school practitioners, youth work and children’s services, volunteers. It is delivered in partnership Lothian Association of Youth Clubs.

This interactive session will cover:

  • The Scottish Relationships, Sexual Health, and Parenthood (RSHP) resource. Find out more here 
  • The language we use to talk about bodies and relationships
  • Puberty, consent, and online safety
  • How to respond with confidence and support key messages for children.
