What are these?
Eggs
Human eggs are very small, about the size of a pencil tip. They do not have a shell.
Human eggs are stored in the ovaries.
Sperm
Sperm are the cells that help make a baby when they join with an egg.
They are very small and shaped like a tadpole.
Sperm can swim.

Uterus
The uterus is where a baby grows when someone is pregnant. It is sometimes called the womb.
The uterus is at the top of the vagina.
Cervix
The cervix is the opening to the uterus.
It is a ring of muscle that can open to let a baby move from the uterus into the vagina when it is being born.
Vagina
The vagina is the tube that goes from the uterus to outside the body.
The vagina is made of muscle and is stretchy.
When a baby is born it comes out of the body through the vagina.
Ovaries
There are 2 ovaries, one on each side of the uterus.
The ovaries hold lots and lots of eggs.
These eggs can make a baby if they join with a sperm.

Fallopian tubes
There are 2 fallopian tubes, one on each side of the uterus.
Eggs come out of the ovaries, move along the fallopian tubes, into the uterus.
The eggs in the ovaries are very small and do not have a shell.
Girls and people with a uterus are born with all of their eggs already in their ovaries.
Babies are made when eggs from the ovaries join with sperm.

Penis
The penis hangs between the legs.
The penis helps make a baby by moving sperm out of the testicles into the vagina.
Sperm come out the tip of the penis in a fluid called semen.
Semen looks a bit like milk.
It is called ejaculation when semen comes out the penis.
Testicles
There are 2 testicles. They hang down from the body behind the penis.
The testicles make sperm.
The testicles are inside the body. They are inside the scrotum.
Scrotum
The scrotum is the skin around the testicles.
Pubic hair grows on the scrotum.
Prostate
The prostate makes semen.
Semen is the mix of sperm and white fluid that comes out the penis when it ejaculates.
The prostate is inside the body, you cannot see it.
Sperm are very small and shaped like a tadpole.
When a sperm meets an egg it can make a baby.
