Translated Resources
These Easy Read resources have been adapted in consultation with health, local authority, and third‑sector practitioners to ensure they are culturally sensitive and appropriate for the Unaccompanied Young Asylum Seekers in Lothian.
Practitioners noted that some young people may disengage if materials contain imagery or wording that conflicts with their cultural or religious expectations. In response, the images and text were refined while still including essential information on relationships, rights, and the law in Scotland.
